Weekend Services
with 252 Kids Ave
|
Kids Avenue is a unique approach to Sunday
school for children (K through 5th Grade). This ministry
will enable us to make each weekend experience creative
and relevant with great Bible content for your kids. Kids
Ave is built around three Basic Truths (see below) which
every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled
in Luke 2:52, “…and Jesus grew in wisdom and
stature and favor with God and man.” Each basic truth
is amplified by a weekly concept and a monthly core virtue
and memory verse.
Three Basic Truths Taught in Kids Avenue:
1. I need to make
the wise choice.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want
to be treated

Wednesday Evening
Classes for all age groups,
from infant to Junior High.
Infant
- Preschool children can attend our
Rainbow program where they enjoy a variety of activities
including singing, crafts and finger plays. When your
children enter Kindergarten, the girls join Missionettes
and the boys, Royal Rangers. The Missionette
program is a club for girls (K – 12th) to gather
with friends, invite others to meet Jesus, while being
mentored by sponsors who care about them. Royal
Rangers boys (K – 8th) enjoy challenging
and fun weekly lessons that help reinforce Godly principles
in their daily lives.

Nursery
& Preschool |
We provide classes
for your children (infant through preschool)
during all weekend services, and Wednesday evening, A
Closer Walk. These classes are held concurrent with each
event; so when you are
in the Sanctuary, your children are getting a lesson designed
just for them. We have gone to great lengths to develop an
appropriate worship experience that your children can understand
and enjoy.
The message – taught by those called to work with children
– is geared to their age and attention level. |
VBS
(Vacation Bible School) |

A fun, exciting week
long summer activity (usually in July) which enriches your
children (and their friends) relationally with Jesus Christ
through games, Bible stories, skits, awesome praise &
worship and crafts. |

In
a child’s mind, we believe that church should rank right
up there with ball games and ice cream, not dentists and flu
shots. With this in mind, we strive to create an environment
which engages children in experiences aimed at nurturing their
young faith. We strive to be a resource that children love
and parents trust. Central to our philosophy is that children
are very important to God; therefore, we are dedicated to
communicating His care for them by embodying the following
six values:

SECURITY:
Providing a safe and loving environment for your children is of utmost
importance to us. To that end, safety and security checks are performed
on our children’s workers along with enforcement of a check-in
and check-out numbering system for newborns through age 5. If your
child needs you during a church service his/her security number will
be flashed on the digital boxes located above the exit signs in the
Sanctuary on the east and west walls. Only an adult with the correct
number may claim your child.
No Exceptions! NURSING MOTHER'S ROOM:
In an effort to minimize distractions in the worship service a nursing
mother’s room is available. This room is equipped with comfortable
seating, diaper-changing facilities and a TV monitor to view the
service.
