You’ve all heard the expression “time heals all wounds”. Well, it isn’t true. I’m constantly speaking with people who still carry
incredible hurts from 20, 30 or 40 years ago and that pain continues to affect their lives negatively today. The truth is time very often
makes matters worse. Wounds left untended fester and spread like an infection through your body. Time only extends the pain if you
don’t face and resolve the problem.

This is why we have a C/R program here at GCCC; it’s a biblically balanced approach to helping people overcome the pain of the
past while they are living in and dealing with their current circumstances; not fearing the future but placing it in the hands of the
father who loves us and wants the best for us.

Celebrate Recovery is a confidential, anonymous and safe environment where we come together to share our experience, strength
and hope with each other when our desire is to heal from the blows life handed us and get on with the life we were created to live.
Over the years we have seen countless lives surrender to Christ and receive freedom from the bondage that has kept them down for
so long. Through working the 8 Principles and 12 Steps of Recovery we’ve seen many lives change; family relationships have been
healed; marriages; parents and children reconciled – clean and sober - relationships that were torn to shreds – lives healed
through the grace of God that then continue on to serve Him and live out the life He created them to live.

C/R is open to anyone that wants to make changes in their lives. To heal from the past while living in the present in our current
circumstances; without fearing the future – That’s God’s desire for us and it’s the goal of Celebrate Recovery for everyone who walks
in the door! Please take the time to view our video; it will give you a glimpse of what we’re all about and you’ll hear testimonies from
some of our own people who have been truly blessed by this ministry. It’s my sincere prayer that you will take the steps and walk
through the doors and let God take you on this wonderful, amazing spiritual adventure!

Blessings,
Pastor Tom Merendino
