Pastor Bob came to know Christ at the age of 29, and found himself preaching his first sermon approximately three months later on Father's Day. Bob is a graduate of Rutgers University and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was ordained by the United Methodist Church and grew his first charge from a part-time student church to a full-time congregation of over 200 in five years of ministry. With the heart of an evangelist and a burden for families, Pastor Bob has served at GCCC for nearly fourteen years.

He has pastored in the areas of outreach, single adults, missions, counseling, and Christian Education. Currently, Pastor Bob is responsible for Sunday School (570 Children and Workers), Saturday Evening Bible Clubs, Children's Ministries (700+ children per week), pastoral counseling, and other teaching ministries. He is also preparing the Fall, 2002 startup of our new Jr/Sr High School, Bethel Mill Preparatory Christian Academy.
Pastor Bob is dedicated to encouraging and equipping believers to obey the great commandment and fulfill the great commission by becoming dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ and active soul winners. He believes that because Jesus Christ lives in our hearts, we can accomplish “great things” with His help. Pastor Bob and his wife Ann Marie, have a grown son in Albany, NY, a daughter teaching in Canton, OH, and reside with their two youngest children in Mantua. He is now a proud, first-time Grandpop!
