I was asked by my Pastor to speak to a group of people in our church on the subject,"In Sickness and in Health" It was part of
a series called, "Till Death Do Us Part." While I was preparing the message, God revealed to me how He had met all my
needs during the time that I was a widow.

In March (months later) I read an article from "The Word For You Today" titled "Write Down…What the Lord has done."
Psalm 102:18. Part of the article reads…..

And don't just write about the good stuff. Problem force us to focus on God, draw closer to others in fellowship,
work on building character, provide us with a ministry, and give us a testimony. In other words, contained in every problem is
an opportunity to become more Christ-like!

In the middle of a difficult experience the Psalmist wrote, "write down for the coming generation what the Lord has done,
so that people not yet born will praise Him" (Psalm 102:18TEV). You owe it to your loved ones to pass on to them how
God helped you overcome your problems and fulfill His purposes through your life. Think: what you write will be a witness
that continues to speak long after you're in heaven!

After reading the above words I knew I had to share this information with our widow's group "Friends Needing Friends".
Many of the ladies volunteered to participate by sharing how God fulfilled the scriptures in each of their lives. The following
testimonies are from widows who truly are witnessing the Word of God.

God's Blessing,
