Our Doctrinal Statement

We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Old and New Testaments are inerrant as inspired by God, and the only authority for faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20–21)

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Genesis 1:26; Colossians 1:15–17; Genesis 1:2; Acts 13:2)

The Fall of Man

We believe in the fall of man, his universal depravity, and that of himself he is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Genesis 1:26, 31, 3:1–7; Romans 5:12; Psalms 14:1–3; Romans 3:10, 23)

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the atoning blood of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ—the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, who became man, and was sinless, in order that He might redeem mankind and reveal the Father—and that all who receive the Lord Jesus are “born again” of the Holy Spirit and become children of God. (Job 10:12, 22:2; Ephesians 2:8–9; Leviticus 17:11; Hebrews 9:22; Revelations 12:11; John 3:16; Matthew 1:20; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 53; John 1:1, 14, 18, 3:3; I Peter 1:23; Rom. 8:16; Galatians 4:6–7)

We believe in the literal, physical resurrection of Christ that guarantees a believer’s right standing before God and is the hope of eternal life. (I Peter 1:3–5; Romans 4:35; I Corinthians 15:17; John 11:25; Colossians 3:1–4)

The Church

We believe in the universal “body of Christ,” composed of all believers; and the church, a “local called-out assembly,” part of the greater. (Psalms 135:1; I Corinthians 12:12–14; Acts 11:26)

Human Relationships

We believe God's command is for human sexuality to be enjoyed only within a marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe in the personality of Satan, angels, and other spirit beings both good and evil. (Job 1:6; Matthew 4:1; Psalm 34:7; Luke 22:43; Psalms 106:37; Mark 5:1–9; Ephesians 3:10; Romans 8:38)

The Second Coming

We believe in the blessed hope—the personal, visible, and bodily return of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 1:11; Titus 2:13)
