GCCC’s mission endeavor this year is to send 15 people to San Lorenzo, Guatemala from Nov 2-9 to help the Tipaz (Commission to Every Nation) and Hart (Servant’s Hart) families run kid programs, educate new moms on newborn health and wellness and build homes for those new families. We already have 11 people committed to go!

 

It costs approx. $2500 to build a home in the community we are visiting. Our goal is to raise $10,000 through fundraising events so we can build 4 homes!

Saturday, Sept. 21st is our Family Fun Day and Corn hole Competition! 

This event will be filled with opportunities to donate towards the goal.  We will have a cornhole competition, lots of kid and family activities, contests, raffles, 50/50, food, music, and so much more. 

 

You and a friend sign up for the cornhole competition.  Registration is $60 a team (until Sept 1 then it goes up to $70) and cut off is Sept 7. Awesome prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd winners!

You can help us by donating items for the raffle baskets.  If you can’t build a basket on your own, please consider donating that item (or more) in your home that have never been used but you won’t throw away because it’s brand new.  We are taking all “one-off” donations and we will gather all similar items to build baskets!  Anything new can be donated – nothing is too small or too big. Bring your donations to the church and look for the Guatamala table/basket in the lobby. Raffle donations must be dropped off before Sept 10.

 

If you own a business and would like to sponsor the event we are offering $100 hole sponsorships and $250 t-shirt sponsorships.  Your business name will be displayed at the event as a sponsor (and on the event t-shirt if applicable).
